Another exhibition, entitled ‘Mosaics from Drohobycz’, will be devoted to Mariusz Drzewiński’s paintings. He is the pro-dean at the Faculty of Arts, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. Dr Michał Borys from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw will present his drawings. The international artistic group ‘ela, ελα’ will exhibit the paintings created by: Derek Henry, Kate Theodore, Stephen Westbury from the UK, Eve Kemp from Canada and Paulina Hortyńska from Lublin, Poland – graduate from the Faculty of Arts, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. Magdalena Matuszczak will present the project of land development of the bottom of a quarry in Kazimierz Dolny, prepared as a diploma project at the Faculty of Landscape Architecture at Warsaw University of Life Sciences. It was awarded the first prize in the all-Poland competition held by the organization of the cities lying on the Vistula. The fourth year students from the Faculty of Landscape Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology will present their works entitled ‘TWO RIVERSIDES: Project of the River Vistula revitalization’, created under the direction of prof. Wojciech Kosiński. The students from the Faculty of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw will present projects entitled: TWO RIVERSIDES Festival poster. All exhibitions will be held in the College of Fine Arts, 9 Nadwiślańska Street, Kazimierz Dolny, from August 1st to 9th, 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Admission free. |
