„DWA BRZEGI” – Presentation of projects of revitalisation

The idea of bringing new life to tourist traffic between Kazimierz Dolny and Janowiec is an issue of constant care of both local authorities of both towns and its inhabitants. One of the attempts was cooperation undertaken in the area of culture – hence, the establishment of the Association “Dwa Brzegi” and “Dwa Brzegi” Film and Art Festival.

A central issue, however, is still the linking of the two banks of Vistula and development of its waterfronts in a way that encourages tourist traffic and fosters active leisure pursuits. Students of the Cracow University of Technology have submitted interesting proposals in this area.

The exhibition will present the works of 4th-year students of the Faculty of Landscape Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology, developed under supervision of Professor Wojciech Kosiński – being in many cases an example of unconventional vision, unhindered by formal requirements.
