Ruby Wedding

The Small Cinema * Sunday (August 8, 2009) * 2:00 p.m. Ruby Wedding, Poland (PL) 2008, colour, 44 min. dir Andrzej Mańkowski Kazimierz, a pensioner living alone above Anka’s, a Karate Kyokusin master, and her husband Mundek's, great pianist, flat. Together with Kazimierz we listen to the sounds of rich erotic life of his neighbors. However, in the end nothing turns out the way it seemed at the first sight (and hearing). Andrzej Mańkowski (1973) Director, scriptwriter and film producer. Graduate from Music Academy in Gdansk and the College of Scriptwriting at the National Film, Television & Theatre School in Lodz; collaborates with the outstanding Polish documentary-maker Jacek Bławut.
