Why the world’s gone crazy?

Has it? We can’t say that. In our opinion it hasn’t gone crazy, and those voices that claim it has belong to people who went crazy and now try to pretend they are normal, that it’s the world that stopped being normal. Apart from some people who are indeed crazy, the world’s fine. So the motto of this year’s edition of the Festival is only a reason for the discussion, not a statement.

Ireneusz Grzyb, 32, and Aleksandra Gowin, 23, are making their first steps in the world of film. They are students at the third year of film editing at the Film School in Łódź. Their debut film “Little Wires" was screened at the Festival. The atmosphere in this film is idyllic – it’s summer, warm and nice. The main characters are two girlfriends who spend a lot of time together, walking and chatting. One of them meet Aliens, can make the time stop or go faster- which makes her irritating and strange. In the time free of supernatural activities, the girl looks for a job as a bus driver, takes care for her grandma, helps her mum, has adventures with strange people. The film was awarded Stanisław Różewicz Award at the Young and Film Festival in Koszalin.
