In a small village in Italy poet and scriptwriter Tonino Guerra tells story about painting brushes. During WWII he was detained in a camp, where in the face of death he started to write poems in his own dialect. After the war he became a poet. He sends book of his poems to painter Giorgio Morandi, who likes Tonino’s work very much and writes him a letter….
