Dłużek Stop, Israel, Poland (IL-PL) 2008, colour, 53 min. dir Irit Shamgar In the sixties, a group of friends bought cottages at the lake Dluzek to spend holiday together. They went there also in 1968, when they were already “not party members, unemployed”. This is a very personal film, which tells about people, for whom March of 68 became a personal tragedy. Irit ShamgarGraduated in Studies of Architecture in Haifa Polytechnic and Studies of cinema in Tel Aviv University. She worked as a Film critic of "Maariv" 1981- 2003 and took part in international juries at the Film Festival of Amsterdam, Havana, and Vienna. Irit Shamgar is a lecturer of Cinema in the Open University, Tel Aviv and Haifa cinematheques and regularly takes part in the jury of Israel-America Foundation. |
