Film and Audio Visual Communication School in Kraków |
Modern education system based on module form of teaching. Students can compose their own study program and choose courses they want to attend. The school gives them a chance to gain knowledge and experience in making films, from script writing to directing and production.
The school offers:
- long-term study programs and freedom to choose course duration; FAVCS allows you to attend one or all courses; certain advantages accrue to students that attend all courses (e.g. reduced fares or possibility to resign from the basic course)
- chance to meet artists, people of film and culture, and learn from their experience
- practical skills- students have a chance to attend optional practical courses organized by our school and Kraków TV. It’s an opportunity to acquaint students with practical knowledge of film production, casting preparation and work in television. Together with Kraków TV we are working on 4 documentary films this year, based on scripts prepared by students of our Documentary Script workshop, and next year we are going to make 4 documentaries and 2 feature films.
- help in film production, gaining knowledge and experience in the film world- FAVCS established Script Agency which helps our students obtain funds for film production.
Film and Audio Visual Communication School cooperates with Script School in Kraków. Both schools offer courses in the following departments:
