Is Poland a notion, image, name or a symbol? What happened in this country during the last 20 years? Seventeen students from the department of photography at the Film School in Łódź searched for the answer and created works that will be exhibited in the courtyard of the castle in Janowiec until August 9.Maybe we like martyrology, maybe we would never get rid of the fate hanging over our country. These are the issues that the authors are touching in their works. The exhibition is a narration of many voices, it’s about artistic attitude towards Poland after 1989. It overturns the myth that young people are not attached to their country, that they don’t react to what happens around them. Motherland is not a foreign word for them.
