MANUELA GRETKOWSKA. A Polish novelist, screenwriter, column writer and activist, the author of “A woman and men”, a psychological novel of manners with romance in the background.

WITOLD PYRKOSZ. Witold Pyrkosz will be talking with Iza Komendołowicz and Anna Grużewska about his private life and professional career. A witty, vivid story with a pinch of salt.The interview will promote Witold Pyrkosz’s book „Born twice”.
6:00 p.m.
KRYSTYNA JANDA. „If I were a hairdresser, I hope that I would be an artist too. You need to create, to change the world and the surrounding. That’s more than just a job…”. An actress, film director, producer and the founder of the private Polonia Theatre in Warsaw will be the honorary guest of Film and Art Festival TWO RIVERSIDES.

Monday [August 3, 2009]:

ŁUKASZ MACIEJEWSKI AND HIS GUESTS.. The author of „An adventure of a thought. Conversations while acting” will visit EMPIK outdoor store together with Jerzy Radziwiłłowicz, Jacek Rakowiecki, Borys Szyc and Borys Lankosz.

ANDRZEJ BART. His beautifully written „ Venus Fly Trap factory” gained acceptance and was nominated for the 2009 NIKE Award.

JURIJ ANDRYCHOWYCZ. Meeting entitled "What’s Central Europe today? ""
6:00 p.m.
RAFAŁ BRYNDAL, HENRYK SAWKA. Meeting with a unique duet- an illustrator and a satirist. The promotion of a book „Sawka’s scenes from married life, commentary by Rafał Bryndal”.

Wednesday [August 5, 2009]:

5:00 p.m.
JERZY STUHR. The book entitled „ The Stuhrs. A family history” will take the reader through the private life of a well- known family from Kraków. The story begins in 1879, when the author’s great grandparents leave Schrattenberg and find themselves in Kraków.
6:30 p.m.
MAX CEGIELSKI. Exploring the Orient, we find the author in Stambul, where he finds a new meaning… During the meeting the author will be promoting his book „The Eye of the World. From Constantinople to Stambul.

Thursday [august 6, 2009]:

AGNIESZKA CHRZANOWSKA. A composer, singer, actress, artist from the Musical Theatre in the Centre in Kraków will promote her album “No stars”.

Friday [August 7, 2009]:

KATARZYNA GROCHOLA. Owing to circumstances beyond the control of FAF TWO RIVERSIDES organizers and EMPIK, we regret to inform that the meeting with Katarzyna Grochola in EMPIK Outdoor Store is cancelled.
6:00 p.m.
BEATA PAWLIKOWSKA. The author of „A Blonde on the Dark Continent”, a traveler and a journalist, will be our guest in EMPIK. In the book we learn about the life in Africa, unique wild animals and a lot more.

Meeting with JACEK KONDRACKI. Jacek Kondracki, the author of radio-plays, TV, thearte, film scripts and the co-author of the book entitled „Operation Danube” will tell about the making of the book. Jacek Głomb and Przemysław Bluszcz, the authors of the film, will also be present during the meeting.

MAŁGORZATA KALICIŃSKA , JOANNA LAPRUS-MIKULSKA, IZA SZOLC. This is another meeting of “IVY” salon with EMPIK. The subject of the dialogue will be “More popular literature. The difference between a good book and a bad book.”

JANUSZ L. WIŚNIEWSKI. The action of his newest book „Bikini” takes place in Europe and America at the end of the World War II. A young German woman, Anna, is wandering around Drezno, trying to portray the tragedy of war with her Leica camera. Stanley, a journalist form New York, is doing the same…
