The ceremony of engagement of Piotr and Alina becomes an opportunity for two generations of Poles to see each other. It brings about a tragicomic confrontation of present 30-year old people and their parents still caring for old matters from communist Poland.

Barbara Białowąs

She graduated from culture studies and film directing studies at the Silesian University in Katowice. She is the author of several etudes. She also made a documentary called “Moskiewska żona” shown in more than 20 countries on more than 350 shows.
