The result is not so much a documentary, though the images he’s filmed cry out with brutal, burning truth – rather it is an experiment. In using two filming techniques to compliment each other (16mm film and HDV), the director calls into question the fundamental rules of the documentary. Waël NoureddineBorn in Lebanon in 1978, Waël Noureddine is first and foremost a writer: a professional journalist and a poet. Noureddine's films focus on capturing the physical and mental scars of Middle Eastern conflicts. |
