A blackly comic heist movie, from the grubby flipside of the 80s consumer dream... It's 1983, and hopeless junkie Dick gets an unwelcome visit from the past – his seriously sleazy former cellmate, Bug, to be precise. Bug requires a crash course in the 80s: different music, different drugs, and machines in walls that dispense money. Then, the latter development gives him an idea… The resulting manic bank job plan unfolds with hectic humour, high-wire tension and terrific performances.

Gary Yates (1966)

He was a professional magician for ten years prior to his embarking on his filmmaking career, making the transition after picking up an old Super-8 camera in Amsterdam. His first feature film was award-winning “Seven Times Lucky”, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2004.
